Hackney AFZ is a community boycott campaign in support of a free Palestine.
What We Do
Connect with our community
We do regular door-knocking sessions and listen to our neighbours’ thoughts and feelings about Palestine.
Collect Signatures
We ask local shops, cafés, and restaurants to stop stocking Israeli goods, letting them know they will have the support of the community.
Work With Local Businesses
We keep the community updated on which local businesses are apartheid-free.
The Pledge
The pledge is a statement of intent to boycott Israeli produce, and of support for businesses that become apartheid-free. When we approach local shops and restaurants and ask them to join the Hackney AFZ, we let them know how many of their neighbours have pledged this support.
Apartheid-Free Businesses
Our wonderful network of apartheid-free shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, cinemas etc. By choosing to support these businesses, you can know that your money is not contributing to the oppression of Palestinians.
